Description

This is my 19th Frankie repaint but my first 17" Frankie repaint.
I am still not sure how to go about the 17" girls as far as numbering & folders.
This will do for now until I decide.

A little about 17" Frankie now known as Frances
First off let me just say that I absolutely fell in love with the 17" monster high dolls.
I stopped collecting Tonner & other similar bigger dolls & moved onto monster
high because well, they're gorgeous, diverse & most importantly, small.
Not anymore. These 17" girls have so much more articulation than the BW body
Tonner dolls or Ellowyne. I also love the fact that the points of articulation don't
look totally unnatural & there are no strings attached... lol.
Their body is slim, beautiful & light, I have attached a picture of her body before
she was completed just to give you an idea.

So, for Frances, I was really inspired by her theme, first wave outfit & my first
ever Frankie Stein repaint. Being that Halloween is coming up, I wanted to
give her a Halloween but still "looking good" look. Frankie is one of my
favorite sculpts, I just lover everything about her.
I went ahead & removed all of her factory paint & stitches except for the ones on her
lower legs. Her body has some re-work done as far as stitches go & you can
see that in the last picture. She has the typical blue & green eye with"fresh" stitches on her face.
Super yummy red lips, they're really that red & I am super pleased with how they turned out.
Her hair was trimmed a bit to even it out & layers were added to the front.

So as you mentioned in your author's comment, you reuse the same doll and paint the added touched on?

I hope that you have a great and blesse dday!
